Overview

Stripped to its bones and rebuilt around light

A narrow canal house on the Lindengracht, reconfigured from the ground up. We kept the original timber structure and opened the party wall between kitchen and garden to bring daylight deep into the plan.

Every piece of joinery was drawn in-house and built in our workshop — from the staircase balustrade to the kitchen island that doubles as a bar. Materials were chosen to age well: oak, tadelakt, and patinated brass.

The result is a home that feels considered in every detail, where the structure does the work and the finishes stay quiet.
