Overview
A thirty-cover wine bar on the Reyndersstraat, designed with the owner — a former sommelier — so the service flow is as considered as the finish.
Rough plaster walls, a continuous marble bar, and amber pendant lights that make every glass look like a still life. The counter is the centre of gravity; everything else falls into place around it.
Durable where it needs to be, atmospheric everywhere else — a space that works as hard at midnight as it does at opening.
Process
Marble slab selection at the quarry — each piece chosen for its veining.

Bar counter trial assembly in-house before delivery and installation.
Final lighting calibration — amber temperature dialled in at dusk.
